Drake - Views (2016)


      Views is the fourth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on April 29, 2016, by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. It was supported by three singles: "Hotline Bling", "One Dance" and "Pop Style". Views was met with generally mixed to positive reviews by critics and audiences.

      On July 31, 2015, Drake released the album's lead single, "Hotline Bling". The song was produced by Nineteen85 and Frank Dukes.

     On April 5, 2016, Drake released two tracks, "One Dance" (written by Virginia Galarza) and "Pop Style" (which was produced by Yordy Almonte), consecutively as the album's second and third singles.[9] "One Dance" features guest vocals from Nigerian musician Wizkid and recording artist Kyla, with the production handled by Nineteen85. "Pop Style" features guest vocals from American hip hop duo The Throne (composed of two rappers Kanye West and Jay Z), with the production handled by Sevn Thomas and Frank Dukes. Prior to the album's release, Drake removed these verses by West and Jay Z, with a pre-recorded additional verse of his own on "Pop Style". "Too Good" was released as a single in the United Kingdom on May 15, 2016.

Drake - Nothing Was The Same (2013)


      Nothing Was the Same is the third studio album by Canadian recording artist Drake. It was released on September 24, 2013, by OVO Sound, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

      Nothing Was the Same was supported by the seven successful singles; "Started from the Bottom", "Hold On, We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan, "All Me" featuring 2 Chainz and Big Sean, "Pound Cake" featuring Jay Z, "The Language", "Too Much" featuring Sampha and "Worst Behavior". "Wu-Tang Forever" was released, prior to the album as a promotional single. Drake also toured with Future, Miguel and PartyNextDoor from October through December 2013, on the Would You Like a Tour? concert tour.

Drake - Take Care (2011)


      Take Care is the second studio album by Canadian recording artist Drake. It was released on November 15, 2011, by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

      The album was noted by music writers for its minimalist R&B elements, existential subject matter, conflicted lyrics, and Drake's alternately sung and rapped vocals. Becoming one of the most anticipated music releases in 2011, Take Care experienced some several delays to its release date and subsequently leaked online within only nine days before its scheduled release. The album was promoted with eight singles— "Marvins Room", "Headlines", "Make Me Proud", "The Motto", "Take Care", "HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right)", "Crew Love", and "Lord Knows"— all of which attained chart success, and Drake's Club Paradise Tour in 2012. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 631,000 copies in its first week. As of August 2015, Take Care has sold 2,260,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Upon its release, Take Care received generally positive reviews from music critics, who commended its expansive production, emotional themes, and Drake's songwriting. It was included on year-end lists by several publications, including The New York Times[citation needed] and Los Angeles Times, both of which ranked it number one, and earned Drake a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

Drake - Thank Me Later (2010)


      Thank Me Later is the debut studio album by Canadian recording artist Drake, released on June 15, 2010, by Aspire Music Group, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Universal Motown Records.

     Upon its release, the album received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Drake's personal themes and drew musical comparisons to the works of hip hop artists Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Following an anticipated release, it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 on first-week sales of 447,000 copies, and attained platinum certification in Canada within its debut week. All four of the album's singles became hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including the top-10 hit "Find Your Love". Thank Me Later was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and, as of August 2015, has sold 1,800,000 copies in the US.
