       I Am Me is the second studio album by American recording artist Ashlee Simpson. It was released in the United States on October 18, 2005 (see 2005 in music) and debuted at number one in sales. The album produced two top 25 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, "Boyfriend" and "L.O.V.E.". Simpson worked with John Shanks and Kara DioGuardi on this album, as she did on her first album, 2004's Autobiography. Shanks produced the album, and Simpson co-wrote all the songs with Shanks and DioGuardi.[1] On December 15, I Am Me was certified Platinum by the RIAA[2] for its shipments of over one million copies in the U.S. (as of April 2008, it had sold 987,000 copies[3]).[4] A new single from Simpson, "Invisible", was reportedly going to be included on a re-release of I Am Me in mid-2006, but was canceled. The song was later included as an international bonus track on Simpson's next album, Bittersweet World.

      Autobiography is the debut studio album by American singer Ashlee Simpson. Released in the United States by Geffen Records on July 20, 2004, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified triple platinum in the U.S. Musically, it combines elements of rock and pop. Critical reception for the album by critics were mixed. Autobiography has sold more than five million copies worldwide.

      Three singles from Autobiography were released: "Pieces of Me"—the first and most successful single—which was a hit in several countries in mid to late 2004, as well as the follow-up singles "Shadow" and "La La". MTV highlighted the process of making the album in the reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show, which drew a large audience and served as an effective promotional vehicle for the album.

Insomniatic is the third studio album by American pop rock duo Aly & AJ, released on July 10, 2007, by Hollywood Records.

Insomniatic was well received by many music critics, many of which lauded the duo for the lyrical depth and evolution. Others, however, label the composition of the album to be bland and unoriginal. The album debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 39,000. Two singles were spawned from the album. The first single, "Potential Breakup Song", was released on June 26, 2007 and became charted within the top 30 in several countries, including the United States where it peaked at number 17. "Like Whoa" was released as the album's second single in early 2008 and charted in the lower regions of the charts. The album was the duo's final release with Hollywood Records.

      Acoustic Hearts of Winter is a Christmas album and the second studio album by American pop duo Aly & AJ. The album was released on September 26, 2006 in the United States, via Hollywood Records.

      The album received generally positive reviews, with critics complimenting the lyrical content of the original songs and the overall sound. Acoustic Hearts of Winter debuted on the US Billboard 200 at 78, and peaked on the Top Holiday Albums chart at 14. It was the second best-selling holiday album of 2006. The sole single from the album, "Greatest Time of Year", used to promote The Santa Clause 3, peaked at 96 on the Billboard Hot 100. Aly & AJ promoted the album mainly on CD USA and at the 2006 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. In 2007, the album was re-released with three new traditional cover songs.

       Into the Rush is the debut studio album by American teen pop rock duo Aly & AJ.The album was released on August 16, 2005 by Disney-owned label Hollywood Records.

      "Rush" was the first official mainstream-released single from the duo. The song was first released to Disney radios in October 2005, but got real success when it got a full release in February 2006. Therefore, the song has two music videos, one for Disney and one for main television, which was directed by Marc Webb. The song finally reached #59 on the Billboard Hot 100.
      "Chemicals React" is the second main single, and the first serving and promoting the Deluxe Edition of Into the Rush. Its music video was directed by Chris Applebaum and features Aly & AJ performing the song on a set-up stage. The song became their second Hot 100 entry, reaching #50. Its moderate success in the U.S. led to an international (European) release, but failed to generate success there.

      Girl on Fire is the fifth studio album by American recording artist Alicia Keys. The album, which was released on November 22, 2012, is Keys' first release with RCA Records following Sony Music Entertainment's decision to close J Records during a company reshuffle.

      The album sold 159,000 copies in its first week in the United States and became her lowest opening sales for an album. It was a considerable drop from her previous effort, The Element of Freedom (2009), which opened at #2 with sales of 417,000 units.[1] The lead single was the title track; it charted at #2 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the Top 10 in several countries worldwide. The second single, "Brand New Me", was only released to US urban adult contemporary radio stations. Upon its release, Girl on Fire received generally positive reviews from music critics. The album has since spawned two further singles: The second international single "New Day" and the third US urban adult contemporary single "Fire We Make" (featuring Maxwell). At 56th Grammy Awards the album won in the Best R&B Album category, making Keys' is the biggest recipient in this category with three wins.

      The Element of Freedom is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Alicia Keys, released on December 11, 2009, by J Records.

      Keys released "Doesn't Mean Anything" as the lead single from the album on September 22, 2009. Critics gave the song good reviews, comparing it to previous singles "No One", "Superwoman" and "If I Ain't Got You".The single had mixed success, in Europe it did well reaching top five in Switzerland and top ten in the UK. It peaked at number fourteen on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart but only managed to reach number sixty on the Billboard Hot 100. On November 17, 2009 Keys released her second single, "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart". It received critical acclaim as the album's standout moment for its timeless synths and throwbacks to the 1980s. The single was more successful than the previous, reaching number two in Norway and five in Denmark as well as number twenty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.It was later released in the UK as the album's third single, where it would go on to peak at number seven.

      "Put It in a Love Song" featuring Beyoncé was also released as a single from the album. It did best in Australia where it peaked at number eighteen and was certified Gold.[54] However it did only receive a limited release in the United States, a video was due to be released in March 2010 but its release was cancelled so that "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" could be pushed forward as a single instead. Despite this, "Put It in a Love Song" did peak at number sixty on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Following the album's release, Keys' version of "Empire State of Mind" charted due to digital sales. It was released as an international-only single and was in some markets the best charting single. It peaked at number four in the UK, six in the Netherlands and number eight in Ireland. It also peaked at number fifty-five on the Billboard Hot 100.

      Meanwhile in the United States, "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" began to make its impact from April 13, 2010. It was the most successful single from the album in the US, having topped the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart for twelve consecutive weeks as well as reaching number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100. A remix featuring Drake was released on May 28, 2010. Following the birth of Key's first child on October 16, 2010, Keys revealed that "Wait 'Til You See My Smile" would be released as the next single in the UK on November 28, 2010. However this was since pushed back to December 12, 2010. The single features "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" (Remix featuring Drake) as its b-side. To promote the single 12,000 film makers were invited over a period of six weeks to create a music video for the song. Keys will then select one of six short-listed videos to be released as the song's official music video for YouTube and music channels.

      On September 11, 2007, Keys premiered the lead singles from the album. The first single "No One" peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Keys' third number-one single and was also successful in other international markets, charting within the top 10 around the world. Additionally, "No One" won two Grammy Awards in 2008 for Best R&B Song, and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Alicia Keys - Songs In A Minor (2001)

      Songs in A Minor is the debut studio album by American recording artist Alicia Keys. It was released in the United States on June 5, 2001 by J Records.

      The album's opening track, "Piano & I", begins with a rendition of Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, combined with a hip hop beat. The introduction is followed by "Girlfriend", which was produced by Jermaine Dupri. Commended for its "crisp production", the song samples Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Brooklyn Zoo". Keys' cover of Prince's 1982 ballad "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?" (retitled "How Come You Don't Call Me") was inspired by a long-term relationship with a partner. The music critic for PopMatters felt that the song was credible, but fell short from the original and Stephanie Mills's 1980s cover. "Fallin'", the gospel-driven lead single and often considered Keys's signature song, contains a sample of James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World". The song earned Keys comparisons to Aretha Franklin.

      "A Woman's Worth", the second single released from the album, is a "gospel-tinged" song that recommends to men to show respect to their female partner. "Jane Doe" is a funk-driven song, with backing vocals provided by Kandi Burruss. "The Life", which elicits Curtis Mayfield's "Gimmie Your Love", describes Keys's "philosophy of life and struggle". The song was compared to the work of the English band Sade. "Mr. Man" contains elements Latin American music and was described as a "sexy and soulful duet", in which Jimmy Cozier "adds his spice". The album ends with the hidden track "Lovin' U", which Christian Ward of NME compared to works of the musical group The Supremes.

      Heartbreak on Hold is the second studio album by British recording artist Alexandra Burke. It was released on 4 June 2012 through RCA Records and Syco Music.

Unable to match the success of her debut album, Heartbreak on Hold sold 6,731 copies in its opening week in the UK, charting at number eighteen.[1] The album's release was preceded by two singles. "Elephant" was released as the lead single on 9 March 2012. Despite receiving a mixed critical reception, the track debuted at number three on the UK Singles Chart and topped the UK Dance Songs chart.       25 is the third studio album by British singer and songwriter Adele. It was released on 20 November 2015, through XL Recordings.

      On 23 October 2015, "Hello" was released as the album's lead single and was made available for purchase and streaming, with its music video released on the same day. It has since compiled over 100 million views on YouTube within 5 days. It is the second-fastest video to hit 100 million YouTube views ever and the fastest to reach 100 million on Vevo previously held by "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus back in 2013. 87 days after its release "Hello" had received a billion YouTube views, beating Psy's "Gangnam Style", which had accumulated the same number of views over 158 days. The song reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on 30 October, with a combined first week sales of 330,000 copies. The figure was the largest opening week sales for a single since James Arthur's "Impossible", which achieved a volume of 490,000 sales in 2012. The song sold 1,112,000 digital downloads and 61.2 million streams in its first week, resulting in "Hello" debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 (becoming Adele's fourth number-one single in the United States) on the issue dated 14 November 2015. By the end of 2015, it had sold 12.3 million units globally and was the year's 7th best-selling single.

On 14 December 2015, Billboard reported that "When We Were Young" is scheduled as the second single from 25. The song had already charted at number 29 on the UK Single Chart and number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, and sold 150,000 digital copies in the United States. The song was released on 22 January 2016, eventually peaking at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100. iHeart Radio reported on 27 April 2016 that "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" had been selected as the album's third single and that it would be serviced to radio stations on May 17, 2016.
