      Red is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released on October 22, 2012, by Big Machine Records, as the follow-up to her third studio album, Speak Now. The album title was inspired by the "semi-toxic relationships" that Swift experienced during the process of conceiving this album, which Swift described the emotions she felt as "red emotions" due to their intense and tumultuous nature. Red touches on Swift's signature themes of love and heartbreak, however, from a more mature perspective while exploring other themes such as fame and the pressure of being in the limelight. The album features collaborations with producers and guest artists such as Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Ed Sheeran and is noted for Swift's experimentation with new musical genres. Swift completed The Red Tour in support of the album on June 12, 2014, which became the highest-grossing tour of all time by a country artist, grossing over $150 million.

      Worldwide, Red has sold 6 million copies as of August 2014. It was Swift's third consecutive top-seller and the second best-seller overall across all genres despite being out only for two months. This makes the fourth time Swift has an album ranked in the year's top three sellers. Red has been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making it Swift's fourth consecutive album to reach this plateau.

        Speak Now is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released on October 25, 2010, by Big Machine Records. Production for the album took place during 2009 to 2010 at several recording studios, and was handled by Swift and Nathan Chapman. Written entirely by Swift as the follow-up to Fearless, Speak Now expands on the country pop style of her previous work, and features lyrical themes including love, romance and heartbreak.

      Fearless is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The album was released on November 11, 2008, by Big Machine Records. As with her debut, Swift wrote or co-wrote all thirteen tracks on Fearless. Most of the songs were written as the singer promoted her debut album as opening act for numerous country artists. Due to the unavailability of collaborators on the road, eight songs were self-penned by Swift. Other songs were co-written with Liz Rose, Hillary Lindsey, Colbie Caillat, and John Rich.       Five singles were released from Fearless.       The Truth About Love is the sixth studio album by American singer Pink. It was released on September 14, 2012, by RCA Records. The Truth About Love samples rock music influences and is generally themed about relationships, breakups and the different stages and cases of love, while tackling issues of feminism, sexual prowess and social exclusion. It features guest artists Eminem, Lily Allen, and Nate Ruess of American band Fun.

      The first single from The Truth About Love, "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" was released in July 2012, the song sat firmly at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks, and went Platinum for over a million copies sold, as well as charting inside the top ten in several other countries. The follow up second single, "Try" received matching success and preceded Pink's fourth Hot 100 #1 hit, third single "Just Give Me a Reason" which made The Truth About Love Pink's first album since her 2001 album Missundaztood to spawn more than two Hot 100 top 10-charting singles, therefore adding up to fourteen Top 10 hits overall. I'm Not Dead is the fourth studio album by the American recording artist and songwriter Pink. The album was released on April 4, 2006 through LaFace Records to coincide the same release date of Pink's first album, Can't Take Me Home.

The album helped renew interest in Pink's music after a three-year break which followed the poor commercial and critical performances of her previous album, Try This. Originally titled Long Way to Happy, a song on the album, and scheduled for release on September 20, 2005, the album was delayed several months. Its title was changed to I'm Not Dead, also a song on the album, in order to match the comeback nature of the album, and its heavy tone in terms of lyrical content, strong language and edgy sound. I'm Not Dead is primarily a pop rock album, but includes country, alternative rock and R&B influences.

The release of I'm Not Dead was preceded by its controversial lead single, "Stupid Girls", a top 20 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 the video of which earned Pink an MTV Video Music Award. The single "U + Ur Hand," reached the top ten and became a significant chart success, reviving the album's sales fortunes in the U.S., leading to a platinum certification from the RIAA for sales of one million.[1] Who Knew subsequently was re-released to critical and commercial acclaim.[2] The two songs are also Pink's first two singles to achieve Platinum certifications. Subsequent regional singles include "Nobody Knows", "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" and "Dear Mr. President". A Platinum Edition of the album was issued with bonus tracks, remixes and a DVD.

Try This is the third studio album by recording artist Pink. It was released on November 11, 2003. It featured the singles "Trouble," which earned P!nk a Grammy Award, "God Is a DJ" and "Last to Know". Try This was certified platinum by the RIAA, despite it becoming P!nk's lowest selling album.

Try This was Pink's final studio album under Arista Records. In 2006, Pink said that she was unhappy with the way the label wanted her to make an album after the success of M!ssundaztood. "I was kind of rebelling against the label on that one," she said. "I was going: 'You want a record? Fine, I'll write 10 songs in a week for your fuckin' record and you can press it up and put it out.'" She described the promotional campaign for the album as "an awful time. I was walking out of half my interviews crying. I just felt they were putting a quarter in the slot to watch the monkey dance.

Missundaztood is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Pink. The album was released worldwide in late 2001 to global commercial and critical success, critics welcoming the new pop-rock sound Pink presented on the record, after an urban-influenced R&B debut.

The album's singles were positively received by critics and fans. They all made chart debuts and became hits featured on Pink's 2010 Greatest Hits... So Far!!! album. They include the global chart-topper "Get the Party Started" and hit singles "Don't Let Me Get Me" and "Just Like a Pill", all of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album's final single was "Family Portrait", a vulnerable R&B anthem that Pink wrote about her parents' separation. That song became a worldwide Top 20 hit, peaking at #18 on the Hot 100.

"Get the Party Started" was released in October 2001 in the United States and January 2002 in the United Kingdom. It was the first single to be released from Missundaztood, and was written by Linda Perry. The single charted strongly reaching number 4 in the U.S., number 2 in the UK and number 1 in Australia.

"Don't Let Me Get Me" became the album's second single in February 2002, and was written by Pink and Dallas Austin. The song reached number 6 in the UK charts and number 8 in the U.S. charts.

"Just Like a Pill" was the third single in June 2002 and was again written by Pink and Dallas Austin. It reached number 8 in the U.S. charts and became Pink's first UK number one single as well as the third consecutive U.S. top ten single from the album.

"Family Portrait" was written by Pink and Scott Storch, released as the final single from Missundaztood in December 2002 in North America and January 2003 in Europe. The song peaked at number 20 in the U.S. and number 11 in the UK.
